Founded in 1996, Beijing Friend Group is headquartered in Beijing Yizhuang Economic and Technological Development Zone. Over the years, the group has been committed to intensive developing in the field of new materials, forming a multiregion development pattern with Beijing headquarter as the center of management, R&D, and production, while Hebei Qianxi branch and Jiangsu Kunshan branch as the production bases. The three main business segments of the Group are Insulation Laminates, molded and pultruded profiles, and deep machined parts, with more than 400 employees. Friend Group is the vice chairman unit of Insulation Materials Branch of China Electrical Appliance Industry Association and the chairman unit of Molding Special Committee of China Composite Materials Industry Association. It is one of the drafting units of the national standards for insulating materials and thermosetting molding plastics for electrical purposes in China. The group and the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences have jointly established a new product research and development center, which has been recognized as the Beijing Enterprise Technology Center and owns independent research and development capabilities. Mr. Yu Cunhai, the general consultant of the Center, once served as the chief engineer and deputy director of Beijing Insulation Materials Factory, with more than 60 years of experience in insulation material technology and industry standard compilation, presided over the drafting of the national standard GB/T 24,124-2009 C850 series of phenolic cotton fabric laminates, which match with American military standards. In addition, he has cultivated many successors for the insulation material industry in China. Relying on its regional advantages, the headquarter of the Group has successively carried out deep cooperation with Beijing University of Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology and other academies, as well as a number of scientific research institutions, further promoting the promotion of talent training in the industry.

The core products are laminated insulation materials, SMC/DMC molded parts, GPO-3, UPGM series insulating sheets, epoxy molded composite materials and deep machined products of various engineering plastics. The products are widely used in aerospace, military, naval architecture, petrochemical, rail transit, power, electrical, electronic, medical, machinery and other fields. The core products have been used in Shenzhou series, Chang'e series, Tiangong series and other national key aerospace projects. The Group has been appraised as the designated insulation material supplier of China Aerospace Group after years of assessment by the satellite manufacturer of China Aerospace Plant. At the same time, relying on advanced technology, excellent quality and high-quality service, it has become a global strategic supplier of well-known corporations such as General Motors, ABB, Siemens, Schneider, Alstom, Goldwind Technology, CRRC, Dongfang Electric and Shanghai Electric. Its products are exported to dozens of countries in Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America and Oceania, winning the favor of customers at home and abroad.
